30 years competitive hockey
9 years coaching hockey and soccer
Pat grew up playing hockey in upstate New York including high school and junior college level and continues to play in local men’s leagues. Besides hockey, Pat enjoys running, cycling and other opportunities to spend time outdoors.
His priorities are for every player to have fun, develop skills & character, and come away with a love for the game. With carefully structured practices, individual feedback and high expectations, each player will develop both individually and as a member of the team. Pat encourages and expects good sportsmanship and full effort in games and practices. He believes that character development is an important component of the young athlete's hockey experience, including the understanding that success in hockey (or anything else) is not only about winning and losing. Pat will share his passion for the game, but with the message that balance is important too.
Pat works for Occidental Chemical Corporation. He lives in Frisco and has three children. All do well in school and participate in competitive sports; twin 16 year old girls (Adeline and Amelia) enjoy select soccer and 13 Year old Jon enjoys soccer and hockey.
