Jim Vickers
Asst. Coach - Junior Varsity
  • Jim grew up just north of Toronto, Canada playing all of his minor hockey in Aurora, Ontario.
  • His team won the Junior ” A” Metro League Championship in 1996-1997 .
  • Jim was drafted to the Ottawa 67’s in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Draft in 1997.
  • He elected to attend college and played four years of College Hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York on an athletic scholarship.
  • He made the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic team all four years while playing at RPI. 
  • Jim played four years of Professional Hockey including time in the ECHL (Atlantic City, Charlotte, Louisiana) and also overseas in the United Kingdom (London, Edinburgh).
  • His father Steve played  ten years with the New York Rangers and was Rookie of the Year in 1972-73. 
  • Jim comes from a competitive background and has been a leader his whole life.
